PRESIDENT
James, our President, is a 5th year political science major and sociology minor. He has been a member of UBCTM for 3 years and a member of the executive team for 2 years. He first discovered UBCTM when a former member did an interactive workshop on creating effective introduction hooks during a social event. James became a member of the club in 2019 due to feeling of a great sense of community at UBCTM, and he has never looked back. He loves to play piano & guitar in his free time, and enjoys a combination of swimming, hiking, and tennis to have fun and stay fit!
VICE PRESIDENT EDUCATION
Our VP Education, Callum is a 3rd year Honours Mathematics student at UBC. He joined UBCTM during his first year in order to improve his self-confidence and public speaking abilities, as well as to meet some new people during a time when it was extremely tough to do so, (online during the pandemic). What he found was a supportive and friendly community centered around public speaking, filled with many people who he's become good friends with. During his spare time, Callum enjoys cooking, (Italian food is my favorite), playing chess, long-distance running, and hiking/swimming during the summer, not to mention skiing during the winter!

Siscilie, our VP Membership, is in her fourth year at UBC and is majoring in Philosophy! She joined UBC Toastmasters in August 2020 because she was in quarantine and wanted to meet new people. Her favorite role at Toastmasters is table topics master, because it's fun to make prompts about things she's passionate about. She loves doing speeches too. In her free time, she enjoys songwriting, makeup and contemplating about life. |
VICE PRESIDENT PUBLIC RELATIONS
Our VP Public Relations, Priyanka, is a third-year International Economics student at the University of British Columbia. She joined UBC Toastmasters to help build her confidence, practice her public speaking skills and meet new people while doing online classes from Malaysia (2020). She stayed because of the welcoming and supportive environment! Her favourite role is evaluating speeches, because she is forced to observe the speech intently and is able to implement the presenter's skills in her own speeches. Priyanka enjoys listening to and producing music, going on long walks, and exploring new places in her free time.

Meharbir, our Treasurer, is a fourth-year Sauder student at the University of British Columbia. He joined toastmasters to brush up his presentational skills and to experiment with different types of public speaking. His favourite role is the table topics master as he enjoys coming up with interesting topics which makes the speaker to open up. His favourite activity is cooking and he enjoys experimenting with different cuisines and creating new fusion recipes. One of his favorite experiments has to be the Indian- Japanese egg fried rice! |

Devin is our secretary and is in his second year at the University of British Columbia studying Computer Science. He joined UBC Toastmasters in January 2022 to improve his public speaking skills, and to met new people. Outside of Toastmasters, Devin enjoys playing sports such as soccer and badminton, as well as playing video games. |

Our Sergeant at Arms, Nikita, is a second-year International Economics student at the University of British Columbia. She joined UBC Toastmasters to gain confidence and challenge her "subpar" social skills. Her favorite role is Table Topics Master. In her free time, Nikita enjoys drawing, going on walks, and listening to music! |
