The Distinguished Club Points Program is an annual program that runs from July 1 through June 30. The program consists of 10 goals the club should strive to achieve during this time. World Headquarters tracks club progress throughout the year, and clubs are recognized if they have achieved Distinguished Club, Select Distinguished Club, and President's Distinguished Club based on how many goals have been met . Distinguished Clubs complete 5 out of the 10 goals, Selected Distinguished Clubs complete 7 of the 10 goals, and President's Distinguished Clubs complete 9 out of the 10 goals.
Toastmasters strives to create leaders who are articulate, passionate, and have a clear vision of what they want to achieve. In the beginning of the Toastmasters term, club leaders set attainable goals for club success and develop a plan to achieve them. Clubs that perform well in the DCP Program provide a higher-quality club experience for all the members. Each aspect of the DCP Program is designed to enhance the enjoyment of and reinforce the supportive atmosphere for each member.
Walter Gage Toastmasters is proud to have achieved Distinguished Club status this past Toastmaster year, and we strive to be a President's Distinguished Club by the end of our new executives' term.
